Javier Rojas

Here’s some solo guitar music by Javier Rojas for listening on Spotify.

Javier Rojas is a guitarist and composer who has loved to play guitar all his life since age 8, and played contemporary Mexican music for over 20 years.  His compositions are heartfelt and complex, playing the bass, rhythm, and lead simultaneously.  His compositions are for solo guitar, and he does not utilize any pre-recorded music or electronic background.

Each of his six albums has its own distinct style and flavor based on his life experiences. His songs have a sense of liberation and calmness when heard.  Javier’s guitar of choice is the Ovation Adamas that has been his playing companion since 1989. Ovation’s legendary semi-parabolic shape roundback body gives each guitar a unique tone and incredible sonic projection.

He was born in Mexico City but now lives in Cancun. He has become the pride and most sought musician in Cancun and is quickly growing to be on Mexico’s finest and innovative guitarists. ”He will go deeply into his guitar playing, as long as life allows him to do it”.

These are some of his more popular songs.
